With the holiday season in full swing, it’s time to start thinking about office holiday parties. • Monitor your alcohol consumption so you don’t accidentally say or do anything you regret. One or two drinks is enough to loosen up without looking sloppy.
  • Dress conservatively. It’s okay to put on a little holiday glitz, but if you wouldn’t wear it in front of your grandma, it does not belong at the holiday party, either.
  • Treat your superiors with the same respect as you would in the office. If they begin a more casual discussion with you, it’s okay to follow suit, but always be respectful.
  • Avoid discussing touchy work topics or gossiping about other coworkers. The holiday party is a terrible place to stir up gossip.
